I believe our reproductive journeys—whether joyful, complicated, heartbreaking, or all of the above—can be deeply transformative. If you're navigating pregnancy, new parenthood, loss, or fertility challenges, reaching out for support is an act of courage. I offer a safe, compassionate space for you to feel seen, heard, and supported through every part of your experience.
I work with adults 18 and older, offering virtual therapy now and in-person sessions beginning in September.
As a perinatal psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker with specialized training in trauma healing, I work with clients navigating the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and loss—whether these experiences are resurfacing past adversity or bringing up unfamiliar challenges for the first time. Some clients come to therapy with a history of trauma, while others seek support because this season of life is unexpectedly overwhelming, isolating, or painful. All of these experiences are welcome in the therapy space we create together.

I support clients through postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, miscarriage, pregnancy termination, and grief. I also bring experience working with foster and adoptive parents, honoring the complexities of these paths to parenthood. In addition to working with clients during the perinatal period, I enjoy supporting parents facing challenges as their children grow. Many of the emotional and relational patterns that emerge in early parenthood continue—or shift—in new ways once children become toddlers or school-aged. I offer a space to explore these dynamics, navigate parenting stress, and reconnect with your own sense of self amidst the demands of family life.

The most important aspect of therapy is the relationship we build together, so I invite ongoing feedback from clients and strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to guide your own healing. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person I work with using a variety of different modalities, including elements of: Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Using a combination of these mind and body-based approaches, we can work together to build awareness, deepen self-compassion, and support lasting healing.

On a personal note, I live in Grand Rapids with my husband and young daughter. I love being outside as much as possible, moving my body, reading, and cooking delicious food.
