Clinical Consultation
Kerrie provides professional consultation to organizations and individuals on the following topics. maternal mental health, perinatal mental health, social emotional health of of young children including parenting and early care environments and clinical supervision.
Kerrie is a passionate advocate for maternal mental health. Kerrie regularly speaks at professional conferences and in the media to raise awareness and address treatment of postpartum depression and other perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD).
She became an expert in the field through her more than 20 years experience working with individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crises.
She was one of the founding practitioners of the Pine Rest Mother and Baby Program, and interacted with over 1,000 women experiencing perinatal distress in her time there. She also collaborated with colleagues on a research project that conclusively demonstrated the success of short-term, intensive treatment among their patient population.
